Left hand or right hand sprites

Hi,

 

I'm trying to paint  a hand as a player. That doesn't look nice at all. Has anyone ever painted a hand?

Check out my game Pinfinger.

 

I use hand sprites (mixed with the missiles) for the menus. They can be only sprites though and flipped if needed.

Someone had mentioned they kind of looked like forks so I did add a kind of thumb bump on the side but I think for a hand it looked really good. 

 

I made the menu but duplicating the player sprite but then using the duplicated missiles for the additional fingers (the third missile is hidden in the border). But you can basically add or subtract fingers from the sprite however you need it. Hope it helps!

WOW. what kind of game is this? The Hand is exactly what i was looking for.

It's a dungeon crawler like Treasure of Tarmin I've been working on intermittently for years.  The "hand pointer" sprite is something I really struggled with so I'm glad it helps!
