+Andrew Davie
I'm looking for some help from a SECAM '2600 owner who also has a Harmony Cart. I'd like to test a binary on actual SECAM hardware. There's a requirement for absolute confidentiality, so someone with a high reputation in the community would be ideal. Thanks

alex_79
Yes, I have a SECAM console. It's packed away right now, but I will take it out of storage (probably has to wait until after the weekend). Anyway, I remember the video output was quite bad: the only TV I have that can tune a SECAM rf signal is the LCD in my living room, and the digital tuner is not as good as those in the old CRTs were, and in addition to that it applies a deinterlacing filter messing up the image even more especially in case of flicker and/or fast moving objects. A proper SECAM or multistandard CRT would be ideal, but I don't have one.
