Can't remember the goddamn name

I remember an old shareware game I got from a magazine cover disc.

It was a space shooter/stratergy game and I spent hours on it.

 

The idea was simple, you where a ship with a home base that had

automated defenses, you had a spinning platform that was your launch pad

and you had to go to other worlds and land on them to claim them. then

your home world would dispach a transport to colonise and erect defenses. during transit another ship could steal that planet or your home planet or

shoot down your transporter, so you had to defend your claim (or attack the

other ships home bases) to expand your empire.

 

it looked like a vector game just like Gravitar but the thrust was VERY

sensitive and it was extreamly hard to land on a planet. it was a top down

veiw so the planets where circles .... Anyone know what it's called or

where I could find it ... :wink:
