petabyte
Last Christmas I got my Mom a Coleco Vision 2400. It worked from the day we tested it and to Christmas day. Around a week later, it gave a black screen, and no sound. It had some random crashes a few times when we used it, but worked fine. I did test the power supply. Took apart the console, and tested the contacts with the console turned on. red: 12.18 blue: -5.06 white: 0.33 I thought the power supply might be the issue, the last thing I remember doing was getting the console to work by plugging it directly into the wall rather than a outlet splitter. Looking for some guidance before I take out my soldering iron and mess around with it.
Ruggers Customs
Sounds like your power supply is shot. Test the voltages on the power supply itself rather than inside the console. If the power supply is bad then replace it with a ColUSB from Dragonbox over in Germany.
petabyte
Thanks a lot. Looks like I'm only getting 1.3v on the last pin. I'll get a new power supply and report back.

petabyte
Hi, took us a while to decide to buy it, but it was worth it. Console booted right up. Thanks for the help!
