Yautja
Maybe none has noticed this... but we now have this (very, very difficult!) game for our beloved A8 computers: https://bit.ly/3k2R0K9 13

Rybags
I noticed it yesterday on the Facebook page for Atari Museum. Initial impression was that it's just way too hard. Took me 15 attempts or more just to get past the first screen. But after watching a video of it on the Spectrum - you can do short jumps which makes things a whole lot easier. As I said on the post there - well done for porting a Z80 game and retaining the original's speed.

I never gave it enough time to get past the first screen, it was so hard, I decided that if that is how it is for screen one then how frustrating is it going to be overall. It's nice that it has been ported, but way way way too hard..
_The Doctor__
It's not too hard, it's challenging. My kid's will actually play this one. Many other games are too easy and 'boring' because they are too easy.
Mclaneinc
Your 'challenging' is my 'too hard'.. I don't mind pixel perfect stuff, but when millisecond timing is added on top, it's just too hard (for me and others).. As I said, how hard is it going to be on later screens / levels.. I still play mad shooters when my spine is giving me a day off and the reactions are still pretty good. Not bad for an 'old boy'...

Yautja
There seems to be an issue with the game. In screen number 4, despite I reached the requiered symbol, the door on the right will not open.

+x=usr(1536)
Out of curiosity, does anyone know if the first two games in the trilogy (Saimazoom and Babaliba) were ever available for the A8?

Azdul
XEX version works fine on Altirra and even on my MiST FPGA, however I have huge problems starting it on real Atari XL. While trying to load XEX from SIO2SD, it just hangs after few seconds. I thought that it must be some SIO2SD weirdness, so I've decided to create bootable ATR file and write it to physical diskette. However, I'm unable to create bootable ATR file that would even work on Altirra. I've tried ATR created by dir2atr with various versions of MyPicoDos, and Altirra detects crash. I've tried MakeATR with Chaos Loader and the XEX would not load. I suspect that XEX interferes with I/O buffers or system procedures, but I'm not experienced enough to tell what's exactly going wrong. Had anyone succeeded with loading Abu Simbel Profanation from physical diskette ? Or even create bootable ATR version that would work on emulators ? TGB1718
Can't get it to run at all in Altirra, from SDX it has a memory conflict as it uses lower memory that SDX uses.
