power supply

can anyone tell me the correct input voltage for the power supply?

As I know it takes - POWER SUPPLY:  External power supply unit (6v) but for me 99% at the time I use 4 - D Batteries as photo I took of my own unit and how to install the batteries also here's the manual http://www.atari-computermuseum.de/pics/scans/Manuals/C140.pdf

All of the early Pong machine's were 5.5 Volts. Only the last couple of them used the 2600 style 9 Volt power supply. I want to say it was Stunt Cycle and Video Pinball that used the 9 Volt power supply.
