+-^CrossBow^-
Restoring in what way exactly? Are we talking cosmetic... functionality... ?
jham55
Functionality— so far it’s not turning on. The power supply works.
+-^CrossBow^-
@jham55 There is a 2A pico type fuse near the RF modulator along the side of the main board. Check to see if that has blown open. Although on quite a few Inty2 consoles, I've seen that fuse not installed and a piece of component lead soldered in its place... You can see it in this pic below where I replaced one out. It is the green component there in the center of the pic.
jham55
Ahh interesting. How could you tell?
+-^CrossBow^-
Have to use a multimeter on the continuity setting to see if the fuse is still good. Also you have verified that the power supply is working properly correct?
jham55
Also yes the power supply works.
jham55
Did you remove the component to test?

If it’s good, it will be shorted. No need to take it out. you could also just jumper it if you wanted to quickly test it if you don’t have a multimeter. jham55
The fuse tested fine with the multimeter. It was 0.
jham55
Actually that could be wrong. It said 0L so maybe it is broken.

jham55
Thanks everyone— replacing the fuse and it powers right on. Now to test a game.
