I finally got around to do some troubleshooting on my 486 machine and bought the cables and KVM switches to finish my big beige stack.  The desk fits everything nicely though the middle shelf is a bit tight.26801E64-3610-4D79-8F46-4B177E9A529C.thumb.jpeg.e0b6c35ebf4136c52075480cd8023ce0.jpeg

Bottem is a 486 dx4 75 running at 100mhz.

It conked out on me a while back and after a lot of corroded trace checking it just ended up being corrosion on the cpu speed jumper pins.

Middle has a Pentium 200mmx, Voodoo 2 and Diamond SpeedStar64.

Top is a Dell Dimension 4100 933mhz PIII with a Ati Rage pro 128, though I would like to find something more beefy for it like a 9700 pro.

Overall I’m pretty happy how everything goes together and looks on the shelves. Still lots of plans and little issues here and there to work out. But now for the hard part, stop tinkering for a bit and try to actually play some games.

Looks very nice! I like it!

And, I hear you completely on the tinkering part. That is my problem. I have five system builds that I work on every other day just because I have some new idea on how to make each one better...almost every other day!

I think you have to get to a point where you are content with one of the machines and tell yourself "stop, no more!" and just enjoy the build and play some games. I am already there with my 486 and P1 builds. Not so much there yet with my P3, P4 and AMD builds ;)

Yep, that's all three PC gaming eras (486 DOS, Windows 95 and XP) right there...

I'm guessing the other monitor next to the beige one is for a modern PC?
