VICMODEM
Hello. I'd like to know how the Nintendo 64 emulator Project64 save games. When I saved in the game Super Mario 64 it created a 512 bytes EEP file for it. Super Mario 64 uses a 4 KBit EEPROM to save, which in bytes is 500. But Project64's save file is 512 bytes in size, not 500.. So if it is simple, I'm guessing that it has a 12-byte header, and the rest is a dump of what would be written in the EEPROM. If it is complex however, then the content of the file has nothing in common with what would be written in the EEPROM.
VICMODEM
Sorry for the late response. I think that Project64's save files are literally a dump of what would be written to the memory of the cartridge. The confusion with the bytes occurred because google's data converter does not respect the power of two convention.
