PaulH
When Channel 4 launched in the UK they commissioned Thames Television to produce a weekly show about computers. It focussed mainly on the 'popular' machines at the time: C64, Spectrum, BBC Micro and Amstrad... But right at the very start, the Atari 800XL was used to create opening titles... 13
Mrshoujo
It would be insanely interesting if someone could find out if the program to generate the opening titles / animation still existed and could freely distribute it for anyone to run on their Atari 8-bit.

Absolutely - it would be great to see if the code (or program) exists anywhere. The Atari opening credits totally outshone any of those that came in later episodes. Perhaps if there's anyone who worked on the TV show reading this, they could help - although I concede... it's a long shot. 4 Computer Buffs Aired On: Channel 4 (UK) Started: 1985 (according to IMDB) Produced by: Thames Television Hosts: Tony Bastable (died 2007), Jane Ashton, Mike Thorne Director: Graeme Duckham Executive Producer: Diana Potter Producer & Scriptwriter: Michael Feldman Edited July 3, 2022 by PaulH
