Sega Genesis Xonox Style Double Enders

What do people think about double sided genesis carts like Xonox had on the Atari 2600?  I'm thinking two flavors:

 

* All new original games.

 

* Making double enders out of two related favorite games for personal use.  Say, Sonic 1 & 2 or Thunderforce 2 & 3.

 

Any combos that would sound neat and/or convenient?

Vectorman series with both Vectorman 1 & 2 similar to your Sonic idea.

 

Naturally Streets of Rage and Streets of Rage 2 or ... 2 and 3.

I think that is a second generation thing, in the third generation and after it was easier to make a menu for selecting the games.

Correct!  But, I'm well past practicality at this point in my life.  Sometimes cool and even silly is enough.

I would be way up for one. Especially if it had a 3D printed dust cover for the top side

 

Just make sure it works with Sonic & Knuckles. Imagine how towerful and powerful my Tower of Power could be!
