+OLD CS1
Is a great idea, but the marketing is lacking. If he could post anything which shows what his plans are, that would be helpful. A few of us have been burned by pie-in-the-sky keyboard projects (has anyone ever received their C64 keycaps??)
nadir
I mean, yeah, I'd like to see that. However it seems more like a phase 2 type thing. Seems like a more reasonable phase 1 would be a USB to C128 adapter. Obviously requires some keymapping, etc, but would be useful sooner and cheaper. +H454
So, a Gofundme with no plan and no background on the organizer? NO and NO. These look like real solutions: https://www.polyplay.xyz/AT-128-Keyboard-Adapter-for-Commodore-128D Heck, with this one, just use an old C64 with no board and make an extension cable. https://retrolemon.co.uk/commodore-adapters-accessories/144-commodore-64-keyboard-adapter-for-commodore-128d.html

Curious to know how it handles the 128-specific keys. In any case, I would love to see an exact replacement for the 128D keyboard, but this GFM is a big dream. He would have done better to discuss with other GFM/KS campaigns what they went through, talk to any of the talent within the Commodore community, or without, and gotten some real plans, drafts or blueprints, anything. The campaign is it exists now looks like the kid running for Jr. High class president.
RobertB
From Brian Seeley -- "Unfortunately at this time I am unable to continue this project. I hope to resume this in the future as I feel it is a good endeavor. Thank you for your interest in this project. I also received some good suggestions in the comp.sys.cbm newsgroup. I have requested a refund to the two members that supported the effort."
