Fujinet feature request: Multiple drives at once or hot disk swap for Apple IIgs

Recommended Posts

Greetings,

I know this is the Atari 8 bits thread,

but also the main Fujinet thread

Due to Fujinet is now a multiplatform device,

probably a Fujinet subfofum will be needed to manage all

supported platforms.

Someone asked about a feature, that personally I have no idea if it is implemented or not.

Is the Fujinet for Apple IIgs a device that provides multiple drives emulation at once or hot disk swap via button pressing?

It appears that the graphical operating system environment is loaded from a diskette drive,

such Amiga Workbench, and...

if you need to execute any other software you will need

additional drives... or you can exchange current one pressing the button while real-time operation (without reboot the FujiApple)?

Thanks in advance,

I answered myself,

Fujinet for Apple IIgs is a multiple drive emulator at once,

you can boot GE OS from drive slot 1, while something different is loaded at another drive slots.

Some images of Drive A and Drive B at once using GE OS from 1988,

I suppose a old version, probably version 6.0.4 is much better
