Is there a mod to power the Fujinet through the SIO port and not need the separate USB power? 130XE.

Hope so... hate the extra cable.

By default that should work.  External power is needed for 400/800 computers despite +5V on the SIO plug due to the boot time for the 400/800 being too short for the FujiNet to boot; on the XL/XE computers, the longer OS boot gives the FujiNet enough time to boot itself.

I remember someone suggesting holding down START on the 400/800, then SYSTEM RESET once the FujiNet had booted.

Amusing to me that it boots TOO fast!  I think my favorite build is my 800 with the incognito, does that slow down the boot enough?  I am pretty sure it does (and this also reminds me of why it didn't work when I tried it on my 400).
