Totally off topic.

My 8 year old grand son came over for supper and he said "Do you want to see the game I built in Scratch?"

Blew my mind.

I recorded a bit of the screen play. For some reason the sound did not record but there are sound effects in it as well.

Amazing what you can do with the Scratch environment.

He has been playing with it for about 6 months as I recall.

Teslas are surveillance on wheels. Bay Area police check to see if there was a Tesla in the vicinity of a crime so they can get access to the footage from its cameras.

If you see a Tesla, it’s probably filming you — and more automakers are doing it too.

FedEx trucks, too.  Public surveillance by proxy has to be stopped.

Internet Archive Responds to Appellate Opinion in Hachette v. Internet Archive

"We are disappointed in today’s opinion about the Internet Archive’s digital lending of books that are available electronically elsewhere. We are reviewing the court’s opinion and will continue to defend the rights of libraries to own, lend, and preserve books."  - Chris Freeland, director of library services

The Dow Jones index for technology might soon remove Intel from the list and guess what two companies are in the running to replace the empty slot for computing the daily index.

Nvidia of course...

Quote

Nvidia, which the world's third largest company by market capitalization, has seen its stock rise 160% this year alone. However, its volatility might be a concern for the Dow's selection committee.

But old pal Texas Instruments is in the running to have it's glory spot back up on the stock ticker leaderboard...

On the other hand, there is Texas Instruments known for its stable performance and significant manufacturing presence in the U.S. TI's stock price has risen over 20% this year, is more in line with the average price of current Dow components.

There would be no space left on my desk for anything else if you saw the size of my PC with a giant case.

My PC case is almost the height of my desk and just as long. It has has 11 fans 120mm and 140mm in size.

It is so big it sits on floor next to desk on it's own board from a old book shelf.

I have to take it apart just to carry it outside to clean it.

So it is very much like the TI P-box, huge and heavy, impossible to put on desk.
