Matthias
Hello, do we have knowledge about the way a Jaguar Serialnumber is composed? Is it possible to detect the type of the console (NTSC/PAL/SECAM) or other things like the ADC being assembled by looking at the serialnumber? Best regards Matthias

Matthias
Hi! In France a lot of Serial Jaguar numbers starts with K14xxxxxxxxit's PAL jaguars with no RF output You are right, there are some hardware-attributes which allow to "detect" a french (no RF), a NTSC (channel select switch) and PAL model (RF, but no channel select-switch). But how can i detect whether or not i have a british or a german PAL-version without looking at the power-supplies or connecting the console to the TV-set? BTW: All my K-models (PAL and NTSC) start with K14, all my M-models (PAL and NTSC) start with M25. Regards Matthias
