Can I see a pic of the back? Yes it is integrated - and it is "movable" in that you can put it aside, or on the left or right side as he put two mounting brackets on the controller. I did unscrew the cap on the wiring, and it did seem fully plugged into the stick (I didn't want to pull on it too hard etc as I'm not knowledgeable about such things and didn't want to end up opening the case etc).
