Save game on entry to hound locations (grassy plain and methaine snow storm) as hound is unpredictable and there are areas from which no return is possible. Spoiler 1. down, Get suit, get shovel, get phaser. Up, Look console. Push red. Wear suit. Go door. Push red. go door, Jump. 2. n, n, go cave, Set phaser. "to destroy". Shoot boulder. Go curtain. [conserve air supply, Read gauge on suit.] [remove suit when air is breathable.] [hexagonal room - Teleport] (Air is breathable). 3. get goggles, Pull rod, Push rod (# times).
