Appeelicious Posted February 9, 2023 Share Posted February 9, 2023 With a finalgrom99 and a tipi I know I have access to 98% of software. I have a 99 that appears almost fully functional. Are there modern software tools or tried and trues that you would recommend to load up and see if anything sneaky isn't working. How do you test your less used 99 systems? +jedimatt42 Posted February 9, 2023 Share Posted February 9, 2023 I like to telnet from the TI to the PI, localhost, and find / Let it scroll.... It exercises a lot of the bus connections. Then run the parsec cartridge for a couple levels. It beats up the builtin 255 bytes, and a lot of VDP. Plus exercises sound and speech. Running parsec from the EA5 dump out of the 32k ram expansion is also extra stressful - that has identified memory errors and flex card errors for me in the past. 3 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
