tailGator
This one's for only 2 of the carts pictured. Very misleading... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=3048838908
Mr.FoodMonster
The people who dont read the auction are the ones that deserve to be ripped off. Read the auction, and you will get what he discibes. He is praying off of stupid people, yes, but both sides are at fault
xulchris
It's amazing what some people will do to just make an extra buck.
Albert
The way that auction is presented is definitely misleading. He has a nice picture of 24 games, and the title, "ATARI 2600 VINTAGE VIDEO GAME GAMES LOT!!!" Then there is a list of all the games in the description. Only in the second sentence does he mention you get to pick from two games. That's some "lot", geesh. To say nothing of using the term "very rare" to describe the games. The only title in that lot approaching rare is Pooyan. ..Al

Very misleading...http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3048838908 I had to email them, that auction is silly! See below. Message: Your auction is very misleading. You show that nice picture of all of those games and then put Game Lot in the title and then you say...pick 2!? Hardly a "lot" of games! Sad.... Very misleading...http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3048838908 His reply: Thanks for your interest in my item. I fail to see exactly how myauction is misleading. 2 games constitutes a lot and the picture is there to illustrate the condition of all of the titles. It clearly states in the auction that you get to pick 2. I have already had happy customers bid on the games in this fashion. Take care. Mendon
I hate to sound like Clinton but this reminds me of "It depends on what the word IS is"....sigh.... Methinks he is defining the word "lot" in a way that numerous auctions do: a LOT of 2 games, a LOT of 4 gaming manuals, LOT of 3 space games, etc.. most of us would see the title and pictures and consider everything there as a LOT of Atari games or a game LOT or alot of games. But I agree it could be misleading. I was always told to read the fine print and I do. Mendon
Keir
It doesn't really matter if it's misleading or not, it's still against eBay policy: http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/listin...ing-choice.html

Mendon
So auctions such as this: eBay Auction are illegal. Not misleading but illegal under eBay rules. Interesting. Mendon

Any why does eBay make it harder and harder to find this info, anyway?

jetset
I won't mention the other thing this guy is doing to pray on the bidders who are otherwise otherwise oblivious to deception. But hey, he has 100% pos. feedback, so he must be doing something right????
MrRetroGamer
I won't mention the other thing this guy is doing to pray on the bidders who are otherwise otherwise oblivious to deception. It wouldn't have something to do with the fact that he is charging $4.00 to ship 2 carts by Media Mail would it?

While browsing auctions earlier today I happened across a loose Doom 64 with a $6.50 shipping charge. Fook dat.
