+Gemintronic
Since no one has figured out NTSC/PAL autodetect on standard hardware this is probably the best we can do. This works on black and white TVs as well. You could probably get a better color scheme for just color or just black & while. I picked a set of colors that highlight "NTSC" or "PAL60" depending on the TV. The player must select the correct color scheme though. Playfield and sprites have been designed to instruct the player. The actual implementation of both NTSC and PAL60 in-game is left to you. New Version: ntscpal60bw004.bas.binntscpal60bw004.bas Old Version: ntscpal60bw.binntscpal60bw001.bas
+Gemintronic
New version I think is clearer on what you need to do. If the LEFT arrow is visible then press left for NTSC. If RIGHT arrow is visible press right for PAL60. The past version had check marks or pointers and seemed less obvious you were taking responsibility for making the right choice.
