I made my first video game for Atari 2600 called "Stellar Drive". The game consists of jumping and avoiding obstacles on two tracks, and you can jump from one track to another. I am currently testing the video game for possible bugs.

You can see game on video

You might want to have a few slightly different sound effects for jumping that are chosen at random. Some people might think it's annoying to hear the same sound effect over and over and over. Slightly different sounds might give their ears a break.

I think you're right. In my next game, I will pay more attention to the sound in the game.

Looks good, reminds me of Bump and Jump some. I agree with the sound effect (pitfall?) I almost think a tone that rises and falls quickly would fit nicely, have an audio scale that represents the jumping acting and the scaling of the car.

I agree and will change the sound for jumping.

I changed the sound for jumping, I'm not sure if it's any better.

I am ok with it but the pitch feels too high. I'm one of those people that has issues with certain sounds, pitches, etc. The Atari has a pretty limited range and some sounds attack my ears like nails on a board. If anyone is going to be critical it's me ☺️
