Why is it that the timing seems so far off on the joysticks and the paddles are basically useless like in the game kaboom??? Don't think anything is hooked up wrong? Its pretty straightforward. Do I have to readjust my tv? When I play my Atari 2600 on the same tv, it works perfectly?? Any input will be greatly appreciated. CosmicToons Posted May 21, 2023 Share Posted May 21, 2023 If there's input lag, it's probably due to your TV. If it has a Game Mode, you might wanna turn it on. As for the paddles not working, AtGames has never implemented original paddle compatibility for the Atari Flashback 9 or above and I don't know why. (I wouldn't put it past them honestly.) The only paddles that will work are special, proprietary paddles, and those are insanely hard to come by, as they were probably only included with rare deluxe variants.
