Nobody expected this, and I thought to myself, "Might as well show this."

This popped up in my recommended feed on YouTube. I clicked expecting it to be schlock, but it was actually pretty well balanced while still being entertaining at the same time. It's surprising how far this guy went in each game in order to give a nuanced take on each title, even with the obscure Japanese and Korean releases. Much respect for that.

Guardian War and Lucienne's Quest are worth playing despite their flaws.

Dragon Tycoon Edge was one game that suffered from being incompetently puzzling and just plain vague. A little clarity on Sala's behalf could have gone a long way.

I mean if one wants to be bored to tears, then I guess Lucienne's Quest is worth playing.

I had this pop up in my feed too, and stopped by this part of the forum for the first time in ages (and really, checked for new threads in the first time in ages!) to see if there was a thread about it. Much more balanced and open-minded than I expected, and helpful to know what I'll be getting myself into if I try to tackle N.O.B. or Dragon Tycoon Edge.

 

I enjoyed the hell out of Immercenary, myself.
