metroplex2022
Hey everyone! Was up?! I have a lost Atari cable here, does anyone know who made this? It says "Helper" on it. Any information is appreciated, THANK YOU!
+x=usr(1536)
That's what's known as a balun. Typically, they'd be used to allow connecting an antenna designed for a 75Ω input (the threaded terminal on the end) to a 300Ω input (the spade lugs). Unless you're connecting your system's RF output to an antenna input that uses the screw-type terminals that the spade lugs would connect to, it can be ignored. FWIW, the Atari's RF output is 75Ω, so it can be directly connected to the TV's threaded antenna input. You'll want one of these adapters to make that happen.
Video
Like xusr said, its a coax to twin lead adapter, unless you have a 70's or earlier tv you can ignore it as the twin lead port went away in the 70's. I have two TVs that have that, one also has cable built in, the other is an early portable if you wanted to put a dozen or so d cell batteries in it, back in the 80's I'd use it on trips and had one of those adapters to play games on it.
metroplex2022
@x=usr(1536), @Video: Awesome, and thank you for the information! I think I do have one of those TVS, here's a pic of it, my Atari2600 worked pretty good in that for many years :D
