+Gemintronic
Too much potential for drama. The Agon Lite seems to be closer to the original vision in my opinion. https://www.olimex.com/Products/Retro-Computers/AgonLight2/open-source-hardware

Since then there's been feature creep, parts shortages and price increases. Not all his fault.
carlsson
Well, even with the added X the name is somewhat similar to the Commodore 16 which also stems from a family of feature creep and price increases so in that aspect they're right on track. Except it took Commodore 1.5 years to achieve what has taken David & c:o 4 years.
+Gemintronic
My main concern is that most of these new systems are out of my price range and/or unobtainable. Maybe I can find a clone of the ZX Next. But, that's the closest chance I can think of.
