markmiller
On the AtariWiki, I'm seeing a version called Turbo Basic 2.0, but no explanation of what it is, or how it's different from 1.5. I've tried it out, and the only difference I see is it has an integrated DOS. Is that the only difference, or are there added commands beyond what's in 1.5? Sikor
If I remember - works with all turbo casette system. No special features. Integrated DOS make DOS command available from casette (LOAD, SAVE with D letter in some systems). Edited June 12, 2023 by Sikor
baktra
If we are speaking about TT-BASIC 2.0, where the initial banner says something like "Jiri Richter" or "JRC", then it is a special version to be used with the Czechoslovak Turbo 2000 turbo cassette system. This versions installs the T: SIO device, which allows reading or writing data using the Turbo 2000 - Kilobyte blocks file format. The DOS command displays a menu that allows to load/save/verify TB programs using the monolithic Turbo 2000 format. There are no new programming language commands indeed. I would avoid using this version, unless you are going to use it with a cassette recorder upgraded to the Czechoslovak Turbo 2000 system.
