Found these 6 new adventures contained in a zip from this site :-

https://microheaven.com/airlock/

  • A1RL0CK, by Marco Innocenti
  • Blorp!, by Shawn Sijnstra
  • A Clean Getaway, by Michael Bub
  • The Fantasy Dimension, by Johan Berntsson
  • Lucid Night, by Dee Cooke
  • Submarine Sabotage, by Garry Francis

They cover many platforms, the Ti99/4a being one of them.  I think the game Airlock has already been made available on here but the rest I cannot get to work, looks like they use the Infocom interpreter but maybe the main files are not available on the disk or not converted to TI99 format.  Any help please?

If whoever created the collection used the same script to convert the files as was used for Tristam Island, file allocation is problematic if any of the files are fractured (i.e., if the file uses more than a single, contiguous set of sectors).  If no one else looks at this by the weekend, I'll take a look at the images.

Also, the game files must be version 3 (z3) to work with the /4A interpreters.

I took a quick peek at the disk images and you are correct, only A1RL0CK contains an actual story. the LOAD programs are missing the game title and author, which I think is also part of the automation.   I would suggest reaching out to the site owner to find out if the process can be re-run to fix the incomplete /4a disk images.  Maybe someone incorrectly used Stefan's build process or tried to convert the z5 files instead of the z3 files.

Thanks InsaneMultitasker.

The sources for the games are listed in the documentation as :-

A1RL0CK: https://jpking.itch.io/a1rl0ck
Blorp!: https://sijnstra.itch.io/blorp
A Clean Getaway: https://bud1oo.itch.io/clean-getaway
The Fantasy Dimension: https://johanberntsson.itch.io/the-fantasy-dimension
Lucid Night: https://dee-cooke.itch.io/lucid-night
Submarine Sabotage: https://warrigal.itch.io/submarine-sabotage

So I suppose the Z3 files from these could be converted and added to the disk images?  I don't how to convert them to TI99 format myself.

Yes, if a Z3 file exists, I would think it can be converted to run with the /4a interpreters.  The reason I suggested reaching out to the site owner/ZIP owner was so that the images can be corrected and posted at the source.  An alternative is what you suggest: that someone here converts them and shares the corrected images with the site owner.

Okay used my own tools, downloaded and converted the following PunyJam #3 entries:

A1RL0CK: https://jpking.itch.io/a1rl0ck
Blorp!: https://sijnstra.itch.io/blorp
A Clean Getaway: https://bud1oo.itch.io/clean-getaway
Falling Pieces: https://g0blin.itch.io/falling-to-pieces
The Fantasy Dimension: https://johanberntsson.itch.io/the-fantasy-dimension
Submarine Sabotage: https://warrigal.itch.io/submarine-sabotage

Since I'm using my own toolset should I post the files here or send them to the site owner.

It seems that the multi-platform toolset doesn't handle Z3 files that are under 65,536 bytes for the TI properly.
The Z3 file needs to be padded to 64K and be in 512 byte chunks before being converted to the TI.
This will fix all the smaller Z3 files that may be generated by PunyInform. Forgot to post this update for my XB tools.

I'm the site owner. Thanks for your efforts! If you send me working disk images for games in the collection, I'll update the collection.

Note that these are the games in the collection:

A1RL0CK, by Marco Innocenti
Blorp!, by Shawn Sijnstra
A Clean Getaway, by Michael Bub
The Fantasy Dimension, by Johan Berntsson
Lucid Night, by Dee Cooke
Submarine Sabotage, by Garry Francis

I.e. Falling to Pieces is not part of the collection, but Lucid Night is.

The Lucid Night page only has the Z5 file.

Here are the PunyJam #3 Contest files plus the too late "Falling Pieces" which is mentioned on their web page.

There are disk images plus a set of folders for Classic99.  I just finished making the disk images with TI99DIR.

Disk Layout:

INF         Geneve MDOS 80C Infocom Loader

   INF-DOC     Geneve MDOS 80C Infocom Loader DOC's

   LOAD        XB Auto-LOAD

   TIZIL40     TI Z3-ZIL 9918A 40C Interpreter EA-OPT5 Part 1

   TIZIL41     TI Z3-ZIL 9918A 40C Interpreter EA-OPT5 Part 2

   TIZIL80     TI Z3-ZIL 9938  80C Interpreter EA-OPT5 Part 1

   TIZIL81     TI Z3-ZIL 9938  80C Interpreter EA-OPT5 Part 2

   TIZILF18A   TI Z3-ZIL F18A  80C Interpreter EA-OPT5 Part 1

   TIZILF18B   TI Z3-ZIL F18A  80C Interpreter EA-OPT5 Part 2

   ZDAT1       TI Z3-DAT Format - Split File #1

   ZDAT2       TI Z3-DAT Format - Split File #2

Your choice of format to download ZIP or 7-Zip. The 7z file is a quarter of the size of the ZIP.

Enjoy

Looks like the C64 and BBC are using the Ozmoo interpreter which can handle the Z5 format.

From the the Ozmoo page:

Ozmoo supports version 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7 and 8 of Z-code. This means you can run all but version 6 games (version 6 = Infocom games with graphics).

Ah well that's probably that then, unless the author is willing to supply a Z3 version.

The z3 version of Lucid Night was used for all platforms in this collection. You should find it in the DOS (or MSDOS?) folder, possibly with a generic name like story.dat.it may also be in the Modern folder.

My server is unfortunately down at the moment, but I should get it up in a day or two.
