Aside from the this engine being redeployed as a side scrolling platform engine, it's original/current application for the top down Trax engine also lends itself to being used as an A8 Cannon fodder engine. Mouse controlled and playing to the A8 strengths and within its limits I could see it pulling off a cannon fodder engine quite well. Jungle and snow levels. Edit: where the status display panel could be relocated to the bottom and perhaps in hi res mode with dli or (where available) PMG coloring.
