+Allan
Here are all the Atari programs from the November, 1985 issue of Compute! magazine. I know there is a thread with Compute! magazine Atari disk images from original disks already but I thought I would start a separate one with typed-in programs. It is 1985 and back to the early issues need to be typed in. If anyone wants to join in, please do. Many of the program can be found on Atarimania.com so look there first to save you some time/typing. Compute_Nov_1985.atr.zip 8
adam242
Ah.. November '85 was the second issue of Compute! my 12-year-old self ever owned. (October was the first) Very fond memories of the game Puzzler and the series on P/M graphics. It was a wonderful time.
+Stephen
Cool - Caves of Ice in a Compute was my intro to gaming on the 400 (besides the States & Capitals tape it came with). I'm thinking it would have been late 82 to early 83.
Hawkeye68
Great memories typing, debugging and then modifying them for extra lives, cheats, etc. So much was learned, despite the listings being optimized for space, not style.
+Stephen
I will definitely say it helped me in several ways. Typing skills, proofreading skills, then debugging skills, learning logic and program flow. It's no surprise I make a living these days coding. I owe it to this early exposure. 1

My career in Electronics moved to a mix of System Design both hardware and software due to my exposure to exactly the same thing, eventually a pure software engineer (and so much more). Thank you so much Atari
