djglish
How do I remove partition icons from the desktop of partitions that no longer exist? I had three drives hooked up to the system and removed one. Each drive had 4 partitions. I now have eight working partitions and the last 4 come back with "drive does not exist". Chri O.
Move the drive icon to trash and then Save desktop in OPTIONS tab.
kodak80
It may depend on the version of TOS you have. To remove a drive icon, click the drive icon then on the top menu select OPTIONS Click "Install Disk Drive..." In the next dialog shown, click the REMOVE button. Once the drive icons are removed, you need to save the desktop; OPTIONS menu, Save Desktop Edited July 17, 2023 by kodak80
djglish
Thanks Kodak80. I had tried the drag to Trash and it didn't work. Using the Install Disk Drive way did allow me to remove the drive. Hard to believe that I used to know all of this stuff years ago.
