Altirra 3.91

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I've alway's been using Altirra 3.91 x64 (and still do) and I found that I cannot see the sector number being accessed any more, or drive number at the bottom of the screen even if the option is enabled

I think it's might be due to a windows 10 update somehow.

Anybody can download the same version as me and confirm the bug ?

I'm on windows 10 pro 64 bits 22H2 19045.3271

Thanks...

I started using Altirra when 3.9 came out....

I remembered trying 4.0 and it wasn't as functional... maybe still in development I think, and the dark mode wasn't quite ready yet...

So instead of risking having problems, I decided to stay win a version that I have been using for a while that I knew was running fine...

I did not want to loose time experimenting and getting used to.... I preferred using my time to work on my projects instead...

But no worry, I shall recheck 4.xx quite soon...

This week I will recheck the missing track number info to pinpoint the source of the problem...

A+

Any reason you are using such a old build of altirra? Curious

Well.. for me... I run my BBS on an old Core i7 3rd gen PC that runs Windows 7.  Altirra 3.91 is fine on Win 7 and the entire BBS is rock solid on this combination.

On my main PC, I run 4.0 but for the test above, I copied 3.91 to my main PC.

I just thought I'd interject...

Thats a good reason. I was truly just curious. I use Altirra daily and wanted to hear if they had noticed something beneficial in the older build.
