Bios 24 password???

it really is Atar!C3l3br8te$50Ye4r$

that is a lowercase L between the 3s.  It is a complicated password and easily mistyped.  You also have to be sure your keyboard is outputting the keystrokes as some keyboards might default to using a keypad on the right half of the keyboard (typically the blue secondary letters).  This can also be an issue with international keyboards.

I flash and go into the BIOS multiple times a week.  The password really does work.  This morning I was on a conference call with someone in Brazil and he entered the BIOS (v24 even) with the password.

Any other suggestions for a moron like me? I've flashed the bios and tried this password many times, literally dozens. I've even tried use both zero and capital O after the 5. I made sure the caps lock is off and I just cant get it right.

One thing to make sure is that NUM LOCK is on. If the keyboard does not have a dedicated numerical pad, then the right half will have a number pad has (usually) blue letters accessed via holding an FN key or something similar. In the BIOS, those Blue Keys (the number pad) might be active and functional, so instead of typing a P or O, you are typing a 9 and 8. So be sure to have NUM LOCK on in the BIOS.

My only other suggestion is to find a dirt simple keyboard than what you are using now. Something is going wrong with the input values being entered in the BIOS, which is hard to tell because all you see is *****. The BIOS password does work, and I don't have to downgrade the BIOS or any other weird walk-around I see other people doing.

Ok, so I made a video where I take a VCS, one from our warehouse, flash it and update it (OS and BIOS) to the current states, and then go into the BIOS with the password.  I just wanted people to see it work on a VCS that I didn't update the password or make any other changes.

If you want to go right to where I type in the password, skip to 16:30.
