AtariIsMyJam
Hey y’all - I came across these in a collection and am not sure what to make of it. You’ll have to forgive me, I am not that knowledgeable on Atari 400/800. Education would be welcomed! They definitely do not appear to be released games. Are these prototypes? Internally circulated information? Any help you could give would be extremely helpful! Edited August 21, 2023 by AtariIsMyJam
Tempest
Those are just programs on cassette. The ones labeled APX are from the Atari Program Exchange which was a program where users submitted programs to Atari and they published them.
+Stephen
Wow - I haven't seen one of those crappy generic "blue light special" K-Mart tapes in ages. I wonder what is on the 3 "blank" tapes (recorded by a user, the non-APX ones). Not sure where you are located, but I (and many others) have equipment to preserve the contents (non destructively too). You can message if interested, or you may even have the equipment to do so.

I can read Baja Buggies on the TDK and Shamus on the blue tape. I can't read the rest of the text on either of them, though; too blurry in the photo.
vitoco
They were all released. You can find them in Atarimania, like Spelling Genie and Pacific Coast Hwy. BUT, some of them don't have the binaries published in that site, so it could be cool to be dumped and preserved, like Starfire (is Fire One in the other side of the tape?).

This would be a great one to preserve.
