Lamprey
Hi, I just installed an RGB mod into my O2 and the audio is a bit loud. I am using the mod from the crayola_the_crayon_king. The mod itself doesn't deal with audio so I just wired audio from the percribed point (I forget the exact spot c45 I think it was). There is also a note that you might want to use a 1uf 25-50V capacitor on the audio line. I've tried with and without the 1uf 25 cap and it doesn't seem to make any audible difference. Does anyone recomend a resistor or something to help tame down the volume? Thanks!
Dantaipan
I think the cap is to prevent voltage from passing back in and nothing to do with volume. I tapped audio directly and didn’t notice a volume issue. Did you take photos of your mod?
Dantaipan
Red wire is where I tapped audio on my v2.
Lamprey
I don't have any photos of my mod, but it looks pretty much like the photo you posted. Yeah I tapped audio from the same spot as shown in the picture. The Volume isn't a huge increase, so I guess I won't worry about it. Cheers!
