Atari Recharged Compilation

Do you think there will be a compilation release or bundle for the Atari Recharged series? We are now on the 9th game with Quantum Recharged(10th if you count the 2020 and 2022 version of Missile Command as I do). A physical release for the Switch would make the perfect companion to my Atari 50 steelbook edition. There was a Limited Run release last year but that only had 4 games, and spread across 2 cartridges. It was significantly more expensive than buying the games individually.

 

I break the collection so far into 2 series, and I think some kind of series bundle would make a lot of sense.

Wave 1:
1. Missile Command Recharged

2. Breakout Recharged

3. Black Widow Recharged

4. Asteroids Recharged

5. Centipede Recharged

Wave 2:

6. Yars Recharged

7. Gravitar Recharged

8. Missile Command Recharged 2

9. Caverns of Mars Recharged

10. Quantum Recharged

I'll ask around if there are any plans for a Recharged Compilation.  I haven't seen anything like that, but too often I don't find out about something until it is announced.

If it ever happens, I hope they sneak in the original Missile Command Recharged as a bonus. Missed out on that one.

Same here, played the 2020 version on my Fire 8, simple & fun, but I can see why they needed to redo it.

You can still get it.  It is for free.  I renamed it MC:R (2020). It was never directly stated, but it was implied that the 2020 Missile Command: Recharged should be taken out of the VCS Store, but I felt otherwise. Since nobody noticed, Missile Comand: Recharged v1 (MC:R (2020)) will be in the Store.

I would be shocked if these games were reissued physically in this generation. Maybe in a few years for the Switch 2 and the PS5, but physical releases are probably going to disappear eventually.

It would also be cool if these games got a physical cart release especially with the 2600+ on the radar.

My guess is that someday they get released as compilations, although they seem to consider Missile Command 2020 dead, so that is not likely to be included.

He mentioned these in his original post. The problem being:
1. They're sold out

2. There are only 2 games per collection and only 2 collections, so that's only 4 games. That's not even half of the Recharged series.

These will be available on Amazon when LRG actually makes them. If they sell well at all I am sure we will see two more.

Each with a bonus CD of the McDuffee soundtrack Vol 1 & 2, respectively and some dev content

There is a bundle of the 9 games on Steam, but it sounds like you are looking for physical only.
