+dhe
If your out there, thanks again for the manuals you sent me in the early 90's. I've finally found time to open the tyvek mailer and start reading them.

He was a moving force in the ADAM & ColecoVision community for many many years. We were happy to know him thru his involvement in MTAG the Metro Ontario ADAM club and his work on many yearly conventions.
digress
I met Richard in person at his house. I was purchasing some adam tape drives from him about 10 years ago. He was a very nice man.

I am sorry to hear that, while our contact was brief, my hat is always off to those who freely give of their time, to help their fellow travelers. Geoff Oltmans
Rich was a great guy and an asset to the community! Got to meet him in person at Adamcon back in about 2010(?) when it was held in Grand Rapids.
coleconut
Should anyone be interested, I am helping Richard's widow dispose of what was left of his ADAM-related assets. Much of it went on sale on Ebay this last year but if there is something you seek, drop me a message and I will let you know Local pickup in the GTA or I can ship. 1
joltguy
So sad to hear this. 😔 Back when I got my first (used) ADAM in the late 80s I went to Rich's house and bought an ADAMLink modem from him. I was a young ADAM newbie and he was so nice that he spent time with me showing me how to use the modem and the software. When I brought my ADAM out of storage a few years ago I put the word out that I was looking for a new keyboard and to my surprise Rich's daughter replied. A few days later there I was standing in Richard's house again after 30+ years! Rich was so nice again and it was just a surreal experience being back in that same room where I had sat with him learning about ADAMLink so many years before. RIP.
