Is there another version of this demo?

A couple of weeks back, there was a post about games with Stand out music, I put forward, Plastron with music by Richard Munns.

This started some foggy memories to start stirring about the first time I heard that music.  I remebered a demo screen that had some text written in squares which scaled in and out...

During this last week wurst331 on youtube posted this demo....memory stared clunking again with the familiarity of the demo title and up pops the demo where I fist heard the music from Plastron, EXCEPT the effect is in red.

I swear blind that it was blue, even after watching it over a few times, I still swear it was a blue screen.

So, as the title of the thread asks, is there another version of this POKEY demo screen or am I seeing my memories through blue tinted specticles?

Nope, there is no other version of this demo. This demo was made for a computer show in The Netherlands to show the visitors the wonders of "Pokey's Magazine", which was a Dutch Atari 8-bit disk magazine in The Netherlands. As pps is already stating, this is a PAL demo disk.

Thank you, We can chalk this one down to crusty memories.  I'm in the UK so it was run on a PAL machine all those years ago, bought through either Page 6 magazine or when Atari User became Page 6 Atari User from a PD listing.  I used to send off my Postal Order for 2 or 3 disks at a time and eagerly await the arrival of my package.

Happy days
