Jasoco
Now that I have my Nomad, I'll be getting a lot of use out of it. What are some games you guys would recommend? So far, I have these selected as some games that are good for playing when not at home... Comix Zone Shanghai II: Dragons Eye Crüe Ball (Great pinball action and cool music and SFX) Micro Machines (Probably the BEST top down Racing game. And it looks even cooler on the Genesis.) Shove It: The Warehouse Game Flicky What else do y'all recommend?

Jasoco
Virtual Racing (It looks best on the Nomad...)You mean Virtua Racing? I'm surprised it even worked on the Nomad. I thought for sure some weird conflict would come up. Hell, I'm surprised an X-Band modem works on it. If only the network were still up. (Not that there'd be anyone else out there playing at the same time.)
maibock
Try some of the sports games. I think Madden looks and plays much better on the Nomad than it does on the GBA.

Xot
Wow, no one said Street Fighter II: Special Champion Edition yet?! If you can find it, Alyssa Dragoon is a personal fave. Wish *I* still had a copy.

liveinabin
Sonic 1. Time trial on the first level. That's a good way to kill an hour or so:)
King Atari
Ah, glad to hear Contra: Hard Corps got mentioned. Exhilerating gameplay, awesome sound, some of the best graphics I've seen on the Genesis (unless you count Virtua Racing, which is also recommended), C:HC has it all. It just may be the best Genesis game I've ever played (and yes, I am counting Double Dragon! The Coin-Op is better). I was totally blown away by the 3D-ish graphics, the Genesis could really hold it's own against the SNES. Even better than Contra III IMO. I'm just sorry it took so long to be introduced to this game.

Now I need to track this down. MERCS is also really good for shmup's.

The game play is too fast for the screen resolution, causing alot of blurriness

Now I need to track this down. Yep, it has more of everything, and there's so many explosions going on, you can't help but get excited. Check out the Level 2 boss (be sure to go the 'Follow Deadeye Joe' path, though).
