Now that I have my Nomad, I'll be getting a lot of use out of it. :D

What are some games you guys would recommend?

So far, I have these selected as some games that are good for playing when not at home...

Comix Zone

Shanghai II: Dragons Eye

Crüe Ball (Great pinball action and cool music and SFX)

Micro Machines (Probably the BEST top down Racing game. And it looks even cooler on the Genesis.)

Shove It: The Warehouse Game

Flicky

What else do y'all recommend?

Dragons Fury

Gunstar Heroes as mentioned above

Contra Hard Corp as also mentioned above

Gauntlet IV

Pirates! Gold (Hard to find, expensive when you do, but a must have!)

Any Sonic game

Castlevania Bloodlines

Star Control (melee battle are good quick fun!)

Virtual Racing (It looks best on the Nomad...)

You mean Virtua Racing? I'm surprised it even worked on the Nomad. I thought for sure some weird conflict would come up.

Hell, I'm surprised an X-Band modem works on it. If only the network were still up. (Not that there'd be anyone else out there playing at the same time.)

the two i've played the hell out of on my nomad are-

williams arcade classics, you know joust, sinistar, cant go wrong and its no big deal if you have to end a game all of the sudden

biohazard battle- crazy r-type shooter that gets good really fast and sucks you in, great for making the time fly.

I would recommend Ms.Pac-Man ,but it doesn't work with 6 button

Ah, glad to hear Contra: Hard Corps got mentioned. Exhilerating gameplay, awesome sound, some of the best graphics I've seen on the Genesis (unless you count Virtua Racing, which is also recommended), C:HC has it all. It just may be the best Genesis game I've ever played (and yes, I am counting Double Dragon! The Coin-Op is better).

I was totally blown away by the 3D-ish graphics, the Genesis could really hold it's own against the SNES. Even better than Contra III IMO. I'm just sorry it took so long to be introduced to this game.

Wow. I was just so disappointed comparing CV: Bloodines to Super CV IV that I forsook all Konami games on the Genny. Now I need to track this down.

MERCS is also really good for shmup's. :D

Anything BUT the Sonic series. The game play is too fast for the screen resolution, causing alot of blurriness :woozy:

Yep, it has more of everything, and there's so many explosions going on, you can't help but get excited. Check out the Level 2 boss (be sure to go the 'Follow Deadeye Joe' path, though).

Yep. Works for me too. I had this problem and posted a thread. The Mode button does work.

Sorry it doesn't work for me.Sometimes Ms.Pac-Man won't turn when I need her to.Unless you have a later revision ....(if any)

it works for me, dont push super hard on the nomad mode button

It doesnt matter how hard you push, its a digital button ,not analog... 8)

Mine's just the Tengen Ms. Pac Man with the Tengen lines and square/circle logo that they put on all their carts. Regular sized.
