gferluga
Dear community. Something strange is happening to my system. With my TIPI on my PEB up-and-running from the TI console I run Multiplan. I get to the Multiplan startup screen, asking to insert the boot floppy, but I do not have any floppy in the PEB nor napped in TIPI. I press <Enter> and Multiplan is running. Please see my configuration below. Any other module (like TI-Writer or E/A) that requires a floppy is not running, returning Error 06. Any idea? Thanks in advance…
+arcadeshopper
Real cart or fg99?
+jedimatt42
Probably a TIPI bug that lets DSK.MULTIPLAN. and other volume name based devices resolve against TIPI.<dirname>. even when no drive is mapped. Or whatever the multiplan volume name is...
gferluga
Both. Real cart and fg99. Honestly I have to admit it’s cool… loading Multiplan with no disk 🕺🏼 1
+jedimatt42
Looks like this was intentional, I guess I thought it would be cool as well. I think I did this to make Stewart's TIML browser easier to work with. https://github.com/jedimatt42/tipi/blob/51a75fdc7feb4f4e529e802a85980a1438241f31/services/tinames/tinames.py#L62
