It just goes back to the beginning and let’s you play through again until you’ve exhausted your remaining swords/lives. I tried to see if there are any hidden exits, but only found the one marked Exit which ends the game. Deteacher Posted October 9, 2023 Share Posted October 9, 2023 Played it again. New score: 42,300! There are 40 levels in all. The last one being the "bonus gem" level. Then it goes back to the beginning. There are no more swords/gems to be collected in the 2nd runthrough, so you basically go as far as you can before you lose your remaining swords/lives. Need a few practice goes to get used to the dynamics - note: the lives are lost instantly if you have no swords. I actually spent the first couple of weeks thinking that the files didn't work only to find out that the games cannot be played as intended using NTSC on my emulator. Once I finally switched back to PAL, everything worked the way a Montezuma clone should.
