Redcurrie
Okay, I got Congo Bongo over the weekend and went to play it. I had to shove it (what I thought was a little) to get it in the console and I damn near couldn't get it out. Is this a common problem with Sega 5200 carts or is it my console? I've seen stuff about this in the 2600/7800 forums but not here. Are there any other ones to be careful with?
joeybastard
Yes Indeed. Sega Carts are very difficult to insert and remove on the 5200. CBS are tough too but not as bad as Sega. When I first got my 5200, I thought I was going to have to take it apart to get Star Trek out. BTW, I think 5200 Congo Bongo stinks but did you like it? Redcurrie
BTW, I think 5200 Congo Bongo stinks but did you like it? I didn't actually play it; I was just testing a bunch that I got in to see if they worked. After that experience, I may never know if I like it because I'm too scared to put it back in the console. I'm currently awaiting the arrival of Pitfall, Zone Ranger and Dreadnaught Factor which I'm hoping are good as I love the 2600 Activision carts!
