The MyARC 512K Mega Thread

I've always liked the MyARC 512K card.

  You get a ramdisk, you get bank switched memory, you get a print spooler, you can even run a mega fast 99/8 extended basic.

  I now have three of these cards, one an unmolested 512K unit, one a Foundation 128K card wired up to be a Myarc 512K card and one wired to be a myarc geneve memory expansion.

And I found this Mod to use it with the Geneve.

I think that is the modification that everyone used for these cards BITD.

As you can tell from the back of the card, they run hot, like an HFDC or Geneve.

 

I spoke to one of the Guru's, who thinks it should be possible to outfit it with the newer cooler running voltage regs.
