Boschloo
Nothing seems to be broken with the key itself, it just really looks like there's a sideways spring in there that I don't know how to fix. Is there a diagram anywhere of how this is supposed to be inserted? I'm new again to the Apple II world, I haven't owned one since 1986. The good news is that the self-check thing on startup says "System OK". I was also able to load a game from a floppy! It looks like mine is bent out of shape. Grimm1966
Once you get the spring extracted, you might be able to straighten it out with needle-nosed plyers. If that doesn't work you can just purchase a new switch, and you already have the keycap which it good. I replaced a keycap/switch on my Apple IIe from these guys here (https://www.ebluejay.com/store/Apple2OnlineStore).
