Boschloo Posted November 15, 2023 Share Posted November 15, 2023 Nothing seems to be broken with the key itself, it just really looks like there's a sideways spring in there that I don't know how to fix. Is there a diagram anywhere of how this is supposed to be inserted? I'm new again to the Apple II world, I haven't owned one since 1986. Grimm1966 Posted December 5, 2023 Share Posted December 5, 2023 (edited) Once you get the spring extracted, you might be able to straighten it out with needle-nosed plyers. If that doesn't work you can just purchase a new switch, and you already have the keycap which it good. I replaced a keycap/switch on my Apple IIe from these guys here (https://www.ebluejay.com/store/Apple2OnlineStore).
