JankenTheGreat
You can't find any emulation sites without wading through a lot of Hentai first. Im looking for Sega Genesis ROMs, not bondage hentai!!!! (I really am looking for Sega Genesis ROMs, in case anyone knows a good website.) SteveW
I found a good one not too long ago, it had Intellivision homebrews on it too! I wanted to try them through my Intellicart in a real console. Problem was, the site wouldn't load if you were using any kind of pop-up blocking software. I don't even have any pop-up blockers, I just turn Javascript off until I need it. I had to use 5 different browsers until OmniWeb finally let me download the roms. But I couldn't get them to work on my Intellicart. The software on my computer to load the Intellicart didn't even recognise the roms. All that effort for nothing. Pop-up ads suck. So do sites that use antipop-up blocker software.
Nukey Shay
Sharing peer-to-peer will get you some too. But it's a little slower (simply search for the filenames).
Ze_ro
Newsgroups are by far the easiest ways to find roms these days. FTP sites and web sites are much too unreliable. If you don't know how to use newsgroups, search around the web for information... it may sound complicated, but it's well worth your time. (Of course, there is also bondage hentai porn on the newsgroups too, but it has it's own newsgroup so you can avoid it easily ) --Zero
Nukey Shay
Emuchina appears to be toast You could use http://www.planetemu.net/ , But that is real slow.
JB
Emuchina appears to be toast You could use http://www.planetemu.net/ , But that is real slow. The french ostritch world site!... Gods, I hate that stupid 300 seconds between downloads rule. But they work, which is more than I can say for a bunch of the others. ... *sniff* I miss PE2000.net. Nukey Shay
Still a good site to find specific Roms you are missing. Just not very good to leech from In any case, a download manager that lets you set intervals would probably let you get a bunch while you sleep. It's weird...I can find functioning Snes sites even with a Google search, but Sega ones that show up rarely have any working downloads (or just a handful depending on the "theme" of the site). It appears that Nintendo's crackdown had the opposite effect
MegaManFan
Finding ROMs on the web is a waste of time. Try newsgroups or IRC.
