NIAD Posted December 7, 2023 Share Posted December 7, 2023 While hundreds of Homebrew roms have been made available to download freely or to purchase (CollectorVision ROM Pack or the rom package made available to their Club members), there are a good number that are and might never be made available in rom format. 1942 is a good example as it was released in CIB format by Team Pixelboy. Usually his releases are made available in rom format eventually every Christmas Day, but the rights to 1942 were given to CollectorVision who has or plans to release more CIBs for purchase and may or may not make a rom available to either buy or as part of their Club.
