This little 16kB game was voted 2nd in a8 game compo. Thanks! I can promise you, that there will be an enhanced version for everyone with more RAM in near future :)

Couldn't get either .XEX's to work in Altirra running as 130XE U1M with SDX, shows the initial

screen, when key pressed, Altirra crashes.

 

I tried booting one the .ATR's "MyJewels_sv23we.atr"

and it worked fine, nice game, thanks.

 

EDIT: The demo has garbled player/missile graphics.

Sorry for your errors. But there seems to be some "misconfiguration" @your site imho. I tried several A8 machines and several configurations of Altirra and everything works fine.

 

A8 has so many different config options, so there always can be one that doesn't work.

 

Maybe SDX is the problem. I use nearly every free Ram so area @$1000 is used.

I recognized Buddy's conversion in MyJewels. Coincidently I converted that one, too :)

There's also a dist C mono and stereo version in the repo.

That was a glorious release, well done!

This is the final version of my winning entry "Ready to Lift Off" for the Atari Graphics compo, with a few minor improvements in the shading. Also, this post-compo version was made using G2F instead of RastaConverter, which was used for the compo version due to time restraints. Hope you like it.

The image was captured from my 800 XE.
