Mockduck
This is the case I ordered in mid-December that arrived today: https://www.amazon.com/Intecgaming-Atari-2600-Controller-Cartridges-Accessories/dp/B0CNT9KFZY/ My overall impression is that it is generally nice, and certainly priced about what you pay for specialized hard cases for things like photography, drones, etc. I feel the plastic, while pliant and tough, is a little cheap looking and a bit weak. When I opened the top of the Amazon shipping box my scissors ended up cutting into the bottom of the case, through some plastic wrap. So, be careful in that the case is hard up against the tape line shipped. Surprisingly, my old pretty dull scissors cut into the plastic, which seems like it should have been able to handle it. Here's some pics shipped and with a 2600+ in it. The elements fit very tightly into the foam, you'll need to break it in a bit, but that's a good thing for this kind of case. Plenty of space in the top space for cords, power supplies, and additional stuff. My actual plan was/is to put the new VCS in there, as that's the thing I've been traveling with, but the sizes aren't the same, so I'll need to use my own custom foam for it. The VCS works great as a portable PC and online/offline gaming console from hotels and while traveling. Just hook it up to my cell phone's data and I'm good to go. I have foam to use as well. I suspect it'll fit just fine, with room on the right for the power supply and room above for the Classic and Modern controller. If/when I get it done I'll add pics to the thread. Glorkbot
It's got nowhere to put a power supply. Or anywhere to put paddle controllers. It's interesting that someone made it though. Thanks for posting.

Correct about the paddles, though. Here's a pic of it: Edited January 7 by Mockduck

Sean_1970
I don’t think a case like that exists for the Evercade VS - at least I couldn’t find one before I took mine with me on holiday last October. Found a case for carts though!

Marc Fiorillo
There's a larger one available on Amazon for an extra five bucks. This one has the ability to hold one set of paddles, and a few more carts. https://www.amazon.com/Intecgaming-Atari-2600-controller-controllers-Accessories/dp/B0CNT8H8CT/ref=sr_1_2?crid=U3L9TLH9N44M&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.FSRSpxt__t-DmcN5vKyEcLsqQ-VOxt5Na_2xTbNZbXxvqbCBmicKNuJL9liNk2zRS_UvhJ76I-j3QlXuAd22A1LTiCqihffBViVY8CWRNXj3FctlXohQCG3bY7jz_XjoHYtiEPdPpgypuFQM635Gxw.B5KwuhJgPjDldhlGK0e7OmeNSFecYso7bBbnE9oGP68&dib_tag=se&keywords=atari+2600+plus+case&qid=1710034785&sprefix=atari+2600+plus+case%2Caps%2C99&sr=8-2

Not enough height to store paddles, though. On 3/9/2024 at 8:43 PM, Marc Fiorillo said: There's a larger one available on Amazon for an extra five bucks. I still think I will probably end up keeping the case but re-doing the foam insert to instead fit a VCS 800 (the 2020 release mini pc/console), Classic Controller, Modern Joystick, and cables. Will get more use as the new VCS is a great little portable console and PC to use while on the road, just need to plug the HDMI into the hotel TV and use cell hotspot to access online.
Plumbob
I bought this 2600+ case from Amazon to help keep my Atari games gathered and organized during an upcoming vacation. I’m actually more excited about playing my 2600+ back at the hotel each evening than I am about the trip itself! In case anyone is hesitant to buy this case because it looks like you can only fit 3 games in it, I was able to comfortably fit 14 games in this case as well as the cables, CX40+, and 2600+ and still easily close it. If I were overly concerned about my games sliding around and getting scratched during transport I suppose I could put a thin layer of bubble wrap in the case too. If I were to remove Q*bert and Barnstorming, I estimate I would be able to fit a CX78+ in there. I hope these pictures are helpful to other people. At first I was hesitant to spend $44 on this case because it didn’t look like it would hold very many games but 14 games are more than plenty for a short trip. One word of caution is the imagic games, such as demon Attack, won’t fit horizontally in the three front slots as shown below but you could squeeze them in elsewhere. The quality of the case is okay. I think it will easily accomplish it’s purpose of keeping my system organized while on travel. The price is fine for what you get, but I wouldn’t recommend paying much more than $44 for this case. Although I haven’t tried it yet, it looks like I wouldn’t even have to take the 2600+ out of the case to play it because the connections on the back of the 2600+ are all accessible above the foam.
