INTVCruise
Hello everyone, I have the chance to get these games for 140, not sure if its such a good deal or not. In 10 years of collecting i've seen maybe 2 tandy game cartridges. I just got a computer with a small handful and really just want these to play. I figure they are worth atleast 10$ for the fact that you never see them in game store, and shipping alone on eBay for anything is 5$. I dont see anything too rare, I think the diagnostic cart might be worth like 40? and Poltergesit is kind of uncommon? but I appreciate any input! MrDave
There are some very playable games in that collection.. It's a good chance to grab a bunch.. Any defective or useless titles you could swap out the pcb for a better game anyway the roms are easy to burn. i have put all kinds of games on cart . usually any finance carts became victim to a upgrade 1 Quote Link to comment https://forums.atariage.com/topic/359293-good-deal-on-tandy-coco-games-to-buy-or-not-to-buy/#findComment-5383368 Share on other sites
Green3
For any labels that have seen better days, you can also download and print out replacement labels from the Color Computer Archive. Well, at least for some of the cartridges - they don't have all of them yet. https://colorcomputerarchive.com/repo/Media/Cartridge replacement labels/ Quote Link to comment https://forums.atariage.com/topic/359293-good-deal-on-tandy-coco-games-to-buy-or-not-to-buy/#findComment-5386652 Share on other sites

Funny that you went with the actual LadyBug game art instead of the Doodle Bug clone. Why not just do Joust instead of Buzzard Bait, then? Anyway, where you could really make some money is to sell Dungeons of Daggorath with the shield bug fixed. Green3
Seriously, @MrDave, you should make Dungeons of Daggorath cartridges with the shield bug fix included. All physical commercial cartridges of this game have a terrible bug where the statistics for the shields in the game are accidentally mixed up. This makes the shields you get early in the game completely useless, because they provide no protection against physical damage (which is what you'll run into at that point) and only protect a bit against magical damage (which is pointless because the early monsters are not magical, and by the time you do need protection against magical damage, you'll also need and will most likely have found better shields with the proper amount of magical protection anyway). This makes the game more difficult to beat than intended, because you're more vulnerable than you should be in the earliest stages when you're weakest. The shield bug fix rights this wrong, giving you what you're supposed to get: the early shields finally provide some much-needed protection against physical damage, but none against magical damage (so that later when you run across magical foes you'll need to find better shields with magical protection). All as originally intended. The Color Computer Archive Dungeons of Daggorath listing has literally everything you need: both the cartridge art (in both JPG and PNG format) and the shield bug fixed version of the game in cartridge format (and zipped).
