Stuart
The second one is a TM990/303 - see also https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/223719584728. There's also a description (hardware and software) of a TMS9900-based floppy controller in the big TI system design book - see page 89 onwards of http://ftp.whtech.com/datasheets and manuals/Datasheets - TI/9900-FamilySystemsDesign-1stEdition/9900-FamilySystemsDesign-09-Applications.pdf. That also exists as a separate TI application report document. 2

+FarmerPotato
@Jimhearne I've not been back to the Texas Instruments Archives but floppy controller is on my list to search for. Do you know what is the CD1400? Quote Model 990 Computer Model CD1400 Disk Controller Depot and Maintenance Manual. 1 November 1981.
